"I recently completed the Plant and Place Connection summer series, and I left it learning more than I expected and inspired to study even more about the plant world! While I was looking for an introduction to plants and nature, I was thrilled to explore topics ranging from forest bathing to foraging to botany and beyond. Heather provided a thoughtful and thorough curriculum in a relaxed manner and a beautiful natural setting. Most importantly, the series provided connection to not only the plants and the land but also to other like-minded souls. So grateful for this experience!"
"Heather’s knowledge of plants for medicinal and edible use is only surpassed by her love of the earth. During the “Plant & Place Connection Series” in the Summer of 2023 she fostered a greater love and respect of the forest while she taught us identification, uses, and preparations of common plants. Her reverence for the plants enhanced the experience of identifying and harvesting. Heather has a wealth of knowledge and I feel very lucky that she is willing to share it through her walks, talks and classes. Highly recommended."
